SEDUCING THE PRINCESS by Diane Alberts: Book Review

A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

He’ll give her exactly what she needs…

Protecting a princess is not what former marine Gordon Waybrook signed up for when he joined the Shillings Agency. But instead of the spoiled, regal little creature he expects, Isabelle VanGuard is a fiery, sexy-as hell woman who’s been denied what she needs for too long. And he’s just the man to break through her frozen public facade and give it to her.

When she’s with Gordon, all Isabelle can think about is pleasure. Their blistering chemistry is immediate and intense, but volatile. In fact, the only thing they agree on is that their one night together is just that—one night. Even after it becomes more. But tempers and temptation can’t disguise reality. Isabelle is a princess, and a hot, hard, and tattooed bodyguard isn’t the Prince Charming her country expects…even if he’s exactly what she needs.

DAWN’S REVIEW

We have our BFOP, Dawn, here today to review SEDUCING THE PRINCESS.

This story takes us on a journey of a common American War Hero named Gordon. Due to his injury sustained over seas he was honorably discharged and is currently working as a security detail for a princess from Maleva, Isabelle.

Gordon is your all around American good guy. But he has some preconceived notions about this princess.

Once he meets her and spends time with her he feels this pull towards her. He knows it’s wrong but he feels it anyway. And I love that! So they sneak around because he feels he’s not good enough for her. Because he’s a common American and all that booshit.

As for Isabelle, she feels it too. Though she’s trying not to feel it because she has certain obligations as a princess. To help her country be successful. She tells Gordon a lot but also not too much.

She has this thing she has to do, in order to help her country. And as soon as Gordon finds out what this secret is, he calls off their romantic relationship.

They go through a lot of miscommunication. he wants her, she wants him. But they don’t listen to each other. Finally it’s time for the princess to go back home. And she leaves.

That is not the end. And I am not going to tell you how it ends either.

I will tell you this. . . It is not a cliffy.

Just trust me, read it!

THIS WICKED RUSH by Jessie Evans: Book Tour - Review & GIVEAWAY

This-Wicked-Rush-Tour-Banner

“You know what I like, Caitlin. You know I want you to beg for it.”

Gabe

I’ve never been the kind of person to give up on something I want. Now, I refuse to take no for an answer. I want this girl. I want to help her, and sleep with her, and steal things with her, and make her laugh the way she did right that night in her friend’s car. We’re going to have a summer neither of us will ever forget, and by the time we go our separate ways, she’ll have enough money to go to college, and I will have had her…every way I want her.

Caitlin

I’m starting to forget why it’s a bad idea to get in any deeper with a boy who is a walking, talking contradiction. A boy who has a taste for breaking the law, a wicked way with words, and a confident touch that leaves no doubt he’s way more experienced than I am. I’ve spent my life putting aside my own needs and cleaning up after other people’s mistakes. Now, I want to make a mistake of my own.

I know I’m playing with fire, but for Gabe I’m willing to beg to be burned.

THIS WICKED RUSH is an edgy, sexy, boundary-pushing read intended for readers over the age of seventeen. The book features graphic love scenes, violence, strong language, and thieves in love. Read at your own risk.

A steamy, high-octane love story that will have you wondering how far you’d go if you stopped playing by the rules. And may even make you want to step over the lines.” –New York Times Bestselling Author, Lauren Blakely

DAWNS’S REVIEW

Here’s another review from our Best Friend of the Program (BFOP), Dawn!! We love you, bitch! Thanks again for yet another awesome review!!

First, allow me to warn you… This is a cliffhanger! So be prepared…because I wasn’t!

This book takes us on a journey with Gabe and Caitlin. Caitlin has always lived to do what others expect of her. She often refers to herself as a doormat. She’s known struggle and loss her whole life, she knows nothing else. But because of her struggle she knows strength. She has to be strong for her family because she knows nobody else will.

One day she meets Gabe. Gabe changes her whole life. With Gabe comes love, a love I like to call dickmatized. She’s tried to avoid him. Tried to cut him loose. But he won’t let her go. He wants her, in more ways than one. He wants her body, he wants to help her, and he wants to “steal” with her. Yes, you read that correctly. Steal, the majority of this book goes into detail of what they do together. In Gabes mind he is helping her. Kind of like:

By the end of the book I don’t know if I feel excited as to what they’re doing. Or feel that what they’re doing is stupid. Their reasoning as to why they do it is what I think confused me. Also why I believe she was dickmatized. She went along with whatever he said. I honestly hate bitches like that. Yes he has a dick, yes he may know how to use it. Yes he may be able to do the tongue tornado until your legs are shaking… But if you loose sight of yourself, you’re a dumbass.

However, this book worked. He may have gotten me a little dickmatized. In the fact that I wanted to help them. I was rooting for them. One day, after something terrible happened, Gabe’s secret came out. Not a good secret either. A life changing secret. And THAT is why you need to read the book! Because I want to bitch to you all about what happened. And I CANT! It’s driving me insane. Really, I mean, if you could read the text messages I sent to Pepper and Michelle… You’d laugh at me.

I like the book, I want to know what happens and that is what pisses me off. I hate waiting. I’m an instant gratification person and for someone to give me a cliffy book… UGH! I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. Of course I didn’t. Pfft I am also cheap and I’m not about to buy another kindle because this author made me break the damn thing!

So if you don’t mind cliffy’s, want to get dickmatized… Read this book. Then look me up so we can have a bitch fest! :)
