Wow. Just…wow
CarmJenn - you’ve left me speechless.
I have so many things to say, but I don’t know where to start. This book is amazing. But, just like the synopsis says - it is NOT intended for pussies. Just know that right now. Turn around and go back to rainbows and butterflies if you have triggers in regard to…basically in regard to life in general. I mean seriously. This book is real hugging life. Well, I mean for peeps in a motorcycle club. But real life nonetheless. There is definitely not a lot (or any) of this:

This book is phenomenal. It really is. I may have even taken it to work and snuck reading in during lunch because I couldn’t stop. I imagine there will be a lot of backlash about this book. But to those people, I say, don’t read it. Just don’t fucking read it if you can’t handle it. Because it is beyond raw, beyond gritty, beyond degrading. It’s fantastic. I may be a sick bastard, like all the people in the book, but I loved every second of this.
The writing is off the charts. Finding a REALLY well written (with almost no editing errors) in the self-pub world is kind of rare. For me at least. And this shit is just good. CarmJenn knows how to write. The story is seamless and doesn’t drag in the perfect places, and has you going “oh fuck, what now” in the perfect places. Most of the book is written from Kick’s POV, which is disgusting and amazing all at the same time. I give VERY few authors the “are you a man IRL?” award - due to the amazingness of actually writing true to what I would think a man would sound like in his head. CarmJenn is currently so far above getting this award that I’m pretty sure no one will ever get this award again. I mean, really - CarmJenn…are you in fact a man? A dirty bastard, motorcycle riding, criminal, sexy, broken, man?

I loved Kick. Every single word, thought, conversation. EVERYTHING. I loved how he just saw someone and was like, yep - that fucking bitch is going on the back of my bike. Like instantaneously:
Which normally, I’m like, um - no, insta-love is stupid, but #sorrynotsorry, bikers are intense and passionate and fucking crazy. So that’s how I imagine they do - they know nothing BUT insta-love. And they kick major hard core ass at it. Hey Kick! You can come insta-love me any day.
The other bikers were all bastards. You loved some. You hated the rest. You want every god damn one of them to have a book. TANK - please tell me Tank is getting a book?!?!
There are some females in this gem of a novel. And they kick so much ass it hurts. They have to. And that’s all I can say about them. They will not disappoint you. And you will want to meet them so you can tell them how much you care about them.
People - I laughed, swore, did the hand to mouth thing, and I hugging cried. I did not see that coming. But I cried. There was a part that made me so sad that I cried. I legitimately hurt for Kick. CarmJenn did that to me. It was fantastic.
I can say that I am so glad I said yes to this book. I cannot wait to go back and read CarmJenns other books (KICK is a spinoff from her previous books) And there better be a book about Tank (I think I already said that, but really…) If you are not adverse to any horrific subject you can think of. Get this book. Please do yourself a favor. Excuse yourself from your regularly scheduled romance novels and get this book. I still get chills just reading the synopsis. One of my favorites in a long time.
