MICHELLE: Yes! Finally we got Ash’s story!! I swear, each and every one of these guys just gets hotter and hotter. I was so excited for Ash after learning more about him in Fever.
PEPPER: Oh god, I LOVE Ash. He is like touchy feely, alpha male with an easy going exterior. YUM!! I was really excited to get his story.
MICHELLE: AND - Maya did not let us down with this one. Once again we got the super hot alpha male but I also really liked Josie. I liked Mia and Bethany as well but Josie was a little older and had a really firm grasp on what she wanted out of life. So even though their relationship moved quickly, it felt more natural with her.
PEPPER: Agreed! I liked Josie. She had a free spirit that I think helped ground Ash a little. I also appreciated her need for success and independence. It was really important to her and I liked that she demanded he accept that about her. She was like:
and I think Ash was hot for that.
MICHELLE: Yes!, He was so hot for it that the sex was off the charts!! - though I definitely miss the threesomes with Jace cause that shit was too hot for words.
PEPPER: OMG. Maya. Banks. You. Are. A. Sex. Goddess!! So so so good and vibe worthy. But I have to agree, the best sex scene in this series was with Jace, Ash, and Bethany in FEVER. FUCK ME!! This is me after a Maya Banks sex scene:
MICHELLE: Seriously!! I loved seeing Ash form a relationship with his sister. We better get a book for her story cause I have a feeling that will be smoking hot.
PEPPER: I know, I am so glad that he has some sort of family reconciliation. And I definitely want a Brittany book with the hottie club owner.
MICHELLE: His mom was a total bitch but actually- I would have liked to see more of that interaction. I think I just wanted there to be a true finite end, like him cutting them off completely.
PEPPER: I know. I felt a little left hanging with the family situation. I mean things were good with his sister, but his mom was ultra bitch and then BAM! it seemed to just end. I was like:
MICHELLE: One thing I did love was how we saw things come full circle from Rush in this book, and that we also got to see all three couples interact a lot, especially the woman. It was great to see them form friendships.
PEPPER: I loved seeing the other couples and I liked that the drama that happened in Rush was resolved in this book. However, I wish the ending was a little more epilougy - does that make sense? I wanted everything to be wrapped in a nice little bow of happily ever after…
MICHELLE: Agreed! I wish we had seen more of the wedding. That was the one thing I missed the most. Overall I think this was a great way to end the series!
PEPPER: Definitely, I loved the entire series and all the members of the GJA (Gabe, Jace, Ash) trifecta. I definitely would love to see more of the whole crew!
