I’m not usually one for paranormal but I enjoyed this book.
The sex probably helped with that.
Cerise (our leading lady) is a substitute teacher by day and a Domme with a fetish for role play by night.
Unfortunately, her demands are a little cray and most men can’t keep up. That is until William.
William is a sexy vampire who has been searching for the perfect Domme most of his life and finally finds it in Cerise.
Of course, as one would expect, a relationship with a vampire isn’t an easy one.
The book unfolds with some very hot role play scenes that I would love to try out if I ever get a man again. I mean those sex scenes were just….imagine a super hot guy with a penis that is essentially superhuman.
So the sex is great. But William is old fashioned and eventually wants more. Cerise has been burned badly and so she’s not looking for love. But you’re dealing with a super sexy guy and eventually he starts to break through her walls.
Since I can’t spoil the book for you, I’ll just say the couple goes through the ups and downs of a relationships as is to be expected. However, the drama between them sometimes was a little over the top. I sometimes found myself thinking that maybe they were overreacting.
Also I thought her friend was a total bitch. If I was Cerise, I would have been like:
after the 1st time she started lecturing.
Overall, this is a quick, fun read with some great sex. I know it was listed as an erotic comedy and I have admit, I didn’t really find it to be funny but there were some light moments that I enjoyed and that definitely put a smile on my face. Also, I am just not personally a fan of naming lady parts. I mean- unless I’m calling them lady parts. Anyways- if you are looking for a light read, with good sex and a touch of paranormal- check this out!
