HOOK (Duplicity Duet #1)
Women loathed me without even knowing my name. Men coveted the very idea of me.
Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore.
I’d heard it all. Done it all.
Over the years I’d felt a lot of things about my occupation…but not regret-never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did and nothing and no one had ever made me question them.
UNTIL MARCO VALENTI.
He’d changed me and I’d naively fed into the fairy tale.
But Marco wasn’t my Prince Charming.
He had secrets of his own.
Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.
MICHELLE’S REVIEW
Oh.
My.
God.
Holy Cliffhanger.
Like one of the worst ever.
And I loved it. This is hands down going to be my favorite series by Elisabeth Grace. I need book two, like yesterday.
I don’t even know what to say. Ok so there is “Brandi” and she’s an escort. Like a super classy, high end hooker.

And she has no problems keeping it just about the money. She doesn’t care about what people think because everything she does is for her precious little boy who has muscular dystrophy and is the best. Even though Brandi doesn’t want or need your sympathy, you want to give it to her and you like her. I was rooting for her.
So she’s moving along fine until Marco Valenti requests her services. And then all bets are off.
He’s just perfection on a stick. A man stick. And he sees her. Sees the woman beneath this persona she has created.
Their romance is definitely insta love but it works.
It’s all very Pretty Woman….meets terrible mafia story.
Ok- so we don’t know what Marco does actually and some really bad people want something he has. When Brandi and her son get caught in the crossfire- her love for Marco dies and her need to fight is all that matters.
And then we all die cause MOST RIDICULOUS CLIFFHANGER EVER.
Seriously lovers- get on this series- it will blow your mind.
