Fans of Xavier Cold- Phenomenal X is back at last. This conclusion to X and Anna’s story was great.
It picked up exactly where it left off and Anna and Xavier are ready to face whatever consequences may come. What they don’t expect is that they would be kept apart as a result of Xavier’s punishment for almost killing Rex. But part of Tension’s stipulation is that Anna keeps working for them and Xavier take a three month suspension. Anna knows they have to do this but Xavier doesn’t like it. However- if he doesn’t learn to let go of Anna a bit, he will loose her for good.
The obstacles keep piling up. X is back in his old neighborhood and ghosts of the past keep trying to make themselves a part of his present. X also has to deal with his own demons - without Anna. But his insistence that he is no good for her almost costs him the love of his life.
In the meantime, Anna must learn to depend on herself and learn to forgive everyone around her. When life throws her a huge curveball- how will she deal with it?
If you love these two characters you will enjoy this book. It is fun and sexy but there’s some major drama between our two characters as they navigate through everything thrown at them.
