I’m just gonna go ahead and start with this:
Cameron - our main dude in this story - is a sexy nerdy Science teacher who loves all things Star Wars. I was in love from his first scene in the book.

So, suffice it to say, I was rooting for Cameron the whole book - and wanting to bear his children. He was so sweet with Vanessa. So patient (maybe too patient). He was perfection.
Vanessa on the other had I wanted to throttle a few times. For me, she was too cautious and wishy washy when starting to date Cameron. Then when her baby daddy comes trolling back around, I continuously was yelling at my kindle. She had fears about the ex trying to take her daughter away from her and those fears just felt unrealistic (only because I’m in a similar situation - IRL). I did however LOVE her relationship with Josie.
Speaking of Josie - um can we get a book for her? She was a bad ass. She was more mature and had it more together than her mother. I just appreciated her calm to her mother’s chaos.
This book was off the charts sweet and I loved the storyline, because sexy teacher. This is a fantasy of mine, TBH. I’d love to unexpectedly walk in to my child’s school and find:
The writing is great and I loved the family dynamic that was added into this refreshing romance!
True love’s kiss . . .
It sounds so innocent and hopeful, and taken at face value it’s a chaste promise of romance and never ending, undying love brought on by a simple kiss between two people. However, when you think about, at least as much as I have, when exactly would you know with all the certainty in your heart that a kiss is the true love’s kiss?
Does it exist merely in fairy tales? Or, if the right man comes along, does his love for
you and all the passion in his heart somehow flow through that barely there brush of lips against yours, until your own heart is overflowing with an emotion that you’ve never felt before? And as a result of this
one little kiss, will you fall head over heels and madly in love with this person, forsaking all others for the rest of your life and vice versa?
The dreamer in me loves the allure of the fantasy. However, the realist in me has a hard time wrapping my head around the whole idea because, really? One kiss could have that much power? I highly doubt it.
