I know I’ve closed myself off in a major way in the past year, ever since “the incident” where I messed up my life completely. It’s past time I try to live again or just give up completely. But this is quite possibly the craziest thing I’ve ever done. In a last ditch effort to invigorate myself, I’m standing outside Oren Tenning’s bedroom, I just peeled off the sexiest pair of underwear I own, and my hand is already raised to knock. My brother would disown me for doing anything with his best friend, and he’d probably kill Oren. But if I play my cards right, no one will ever know about this. Not even Ten.

Maybe after tonight, I’ll finally get over this stupid, irrational crush I hate having on the biggest jerk I’ve ever met. Or maybe I’ll just end up falling for him even harder. Maybe I’ll discover there’s so much more to my crude, carefree hunk than meets the eye.

Oh. Em. Gee.

How does LKage do it?? How does she make each and every one of these Forbidden Men so damn amazing???

If you have been a loyal reader of this series- which I have been- you have probably been impatiently waiting for Ten’s story. Let me just say- when I first read through this, I thought- this might kill me. This book is basically perfect. I love everything about it. And then I read the final version and I am pretty sure my head exploded.

Ten is EVERYTHING. Dare I say he might be my favorite?? I mean I love all of them- all these men are in a league of their own. So swoon worthy and yet LKage writes men that you can actually imagine meeting one day. They are REAL GUYS!

But Ten is the ultimate. We know him as a player through and through. He’s proud of his conquests. But what we start to realize in WITH EVERY HEARTBEAT (Quinn’s story) is that Ten is definitely in love with someone. Or at least as close to it as we have ever seen him.

What we see in A PERFECT TEN is that someone Ten loves is none other than Noel’s baby sister Caroline. But Caroline is no baby here. Nope. She wants Ten and she goes after him with full force. And it’s awesome.

Their relationship stays truly secret and forbidden. And when it finally does come out- brace yourselves.

But there is a twist close to the end that literally had me losing my mind. I was just beside myself!!!! It all turns out ok because this is a standalone with a HEA but I was scared for a hot minute.

This is LKage at her finest. If you want to read a book you know will be great from start to finish, will give you all the feels, will make you laugh and probably make you cry- pick up any of the FORBIDDEN MEN books. While they are all standalone- I do suggest you read them all just to get to know the characters. Especially Ten- because in this book, you see his growth in a major way.

I cannot say enough good about this book. I want to read it over and over again. I cannot stress how amazing this whole series it. Every book just makes me feel like this:
