Gah!! So excited to finally get my hands all over Trip!!!! And it was worth the wait. Seriously the guys of Black Falcon are way too swoonworthy. I mean they are sex gods, music gods and when they find the right woman they become relationship gods. It’s not fair! I want one!!

So this is the story of Holly and Trip. With Noel and Riff all wrapped up with their women, Black Falcon finds themselves on a little break and Trip finds himself realizing that maybe he should think about live beyond the band. This is how he ends up looking at investing in the track that Holly and her dad own and run. The track is in major need of repair and Holly has to give up college to come help her dad.

There is so much about Trip to fall in love with. For one- he doesn’t waste any time in realizing that he wants Holly for more than just night. And when he figures it out he goes after it. No bullshit, no games. And I love Holly, cause she’s the same way. Trip is hiding the truth about his fame from Holly but only because he thinks that will hurt his chances with her.

Another reason to love Trip is he’s a great friend to Max, Holly’s best friend who happens to be gay. Unlike her total douche of an ex- Trip treats Max like a humarn being and a friend.

And finally- Trip is there for Holly’s dad. The story line there was SO SAD. But luckily, there’s a glimmer of hope- mostly thanks to Trip.

And Holly is amazing too. She’s feisty and strong and despite her young age she is really smart and not at all annoying. I adore her. And you know- if I love the girl- the book is a winner.

I can’t say much about what happens without throwing in spoilers so all I will say is if you love the Black Falcon series- you will love this book. And if you aren’t familiar with this series- get your butt in gear and buy all of the books because you will love them!

I cannot wait for the next installment- Rock the Beginning which will give us the beginning of Noel and Lanie’s story! Eek!
