UNSUITABLE is an awesome new standalone from Samantha Towle. Our hero, Kastor “Kas” Matis, seems to be an asshole- just another rich asshole. Of course he’s also a Greek god.
But of course nothing is as it seems. Kas isn’t an asshole- but a complicated man broken by a tragic past. The book opens with a scene that has changed the course of Kas’s entire life. It is heartbreaking to read and then when you relive it though his retelling- omg- my heart was in my stomach.
When Daisy Smith is finally released from 18 months in prison for a crime she didn’t commit- she is sent to work her parole as a maid in the Matis residence. She’s immediately distracted by her sexy boss but soon sees that no matter how good he looks or how much her lady parts seem to like him, she doesn’t need to get tangled with another man.
