If I had to only give you one line to convince you to read this - it would be “If you like DILFs, you need to meet Andy Shaw.”
Andy is like DILF of the year. Beth did an amazing job of writing Andy and his adorable children into this family that you as a reader, wanted to be a part of.
So when our heroine, Danicka, meets the Shaw family, she lives all of our dreams.
I just loved this book. It actually could be a standalone but I would highly suggest reading the rest of Brody and Viper’s stories because they set up the deep seated love I have for Andy (see book descriptions for the VIPER’S HEART DUET below). Honestly- by this point in the series- I just wanted Andy to be happy so badly that when he had his chance, I was rooting for him so hard!
You see- Andy has what is commonly referred to as the ex-wife from hell. Blaire is just-I can’t even with her. And in this book??? Lord Jesus. I just can’t.
But then Andy is basically given the gift of his perfect match. The problem is- she works for him and as a woman trying to make it in a man’s world, her life is tough enough without trying to convince people she didn’t get her job using her vagina.
But of course- the heart wants what it wants and due to a threat on her safety- these two destined to be love birds find themselves unable to resist the pull between them.
I love Beth’s writing. It’s no secret. But I truly believe she’s one of the great ones in this genre and having read all of her books- I say that with conviction. So give these books a try if you haven’t. And if you have- I know you will love Andy’s story.
