In this book we meet Kenzie, a female pro-motorcycle racer and the daughter of retired pro racer and owner of Cox Racing Jordan Cox.
Kenzie goes through a lot of pressure to be the best, to help, to save the family business. We also meet Hayden Hayes illegal street racer turned pro street racer.
Kenzie and Hayden work each other’s nerves like no other. They’re on opposite teams that share a track for practice so they’re always bumping into each other; but their enemy status so they must have zero contact.
Kenzie finds herself looking to Hayden for help. Which is where this book gets good. The angst, the mystery!! It’s very well written! I love the way this author built the characters. The inner turmoil Kenzie goes through daily. To keep doing what she loves while making everyone happy! It’s the same struggle we all deal with on a daily basis.
Kenzie’s character is relatable. Her love, her loss, her struggle, her passion, her attitude… I just really connected to this book. It was really difficult to put it down.
