Trashed is the kind of book that we needed from Jasinda.

After the craziness (but also amazing story) that was BETA and the preview of FALLING AWAY (OMG I AM DYING FOR THIS!!) this book was the perfect break from the heavy emotion and seriousness of the other books.

But don’t get it twisted. This book was sweet and sexy but had just enough angst to make it interesting.

I loved the heroin, Des, because she was strong without admitting that she had weaknesses. And even though she had been through a lot in her life she didn’t let it define her. She was so strong despite the challenges of her life and I just loved her. Strong, sexy and curvy- what’s not to like??

Adam was wonderful he made no apologies for his successes but he also stayed grounded and remember who we was it that made him very likable. Also I tried to find someone who could match his beauty and I just couldn’t. I’m picturing sort of the Rock meets Jason Mamoa which is like all of my wet dreams come to life.

They were more moments where things could have been unbelievable like their first time not being more painful or the quickness with which they fall in love and yet it worked in this book. Where those things could really stick out as problems the way Jasinda writes it, it turns out perfectly. It’s like she can see into my brain and thinks- “Ok how can I make this work?” and then magically does it.

While I personally do prefer Jasinda’s really emotional and gut wrenching work, I love that she can write these amazing light hearted reads also, and she does them so well.

It just goes to show that Jasinda is one of those authors that can write any style and still come out with a quality story every time.
