With the end of term finally behind them, Aubrey and Daniel look forward to building a life together. A painful realization that they can’t truly embrace the future until they’ve come to terms with the past leads them to discover the healing potential of forgiveness and the power of unconditional love.
Like the first two books in the series, The Truest of Words is a romantic tale that blends witty banter with passion and drama.
MICHELLE’S REVIEW
Give me a minute. It’s been 2 days since I finished but I haven’t stopped swooning enough to write a coherent review.
Ok let me try now-
First of all, if you have not read this series you need to. If you are a lover of the student/teacher drama- you will love this. It is very reminiscent of the Gabriel’s Inferno series but different enough to set it apart as it’s own book with it’s own story.
This is the conclusion (?) to Aubrey and Daniel’s story. And it was perfection. I am firmly in love with both of these characters. I would like to do this to them both:
Aubrey is smart and knows her value in and of herself. She is driven and hard working. And most importantly- she knows her flaws and consciously tries to work through them. There hasn’t been a point, in all three book, where I have ever felt like I want to shake her or punch her. Throughout this entire story, I have been in love with her as much as I am with Daniel.
And Daniel. First of all. Two words. Justice. Joslin.

I feel like that’s all I really have to say- but I’ll say more. Daniel is- well- Daniel might be my perfect guy. He WORSHIPS Aubrey. Worships. He adores her, he loves her body, her mind, her heart and her soul. If someone loved me about a third as much as Daniel loves Aubrey, I’ll be happy.
In terms of drama and angst- this book rated fairly low, especially compared to the others in the series. But there was enough to keep it interesting. I mean- I definitely found myself saying “just one more chapter” enough times that I finished the book in one sitting.
A lot of the drama was some internal issues for them as a couple and for them personally. And any outside drama was interesting without being unnecessary or over the top.
In a word- this book was perfection. Kind of like this gif:

This series will definitely be in my collection of favorites. I look forward to more from Georgina in the future!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Georgina Guthrie is a self-professed book hugger and compulsive diarist. Though GG now resides in Canada, she was born across the pond and still considers herself a Brit through and through, which may explain her frequent visits to her favourite local British import shop.
GG is often happiest when reading and writing, but she’s just as likely to be found hanging out with friends and family, almost certainly with a glass of red wine in one hand a bag of cheese and onion crisps in the other.
