So it’s been a while since I read a Rebecca Rohman book and I will say- you will be better off if you have read LOVE, LIES & THE DA and particularity LOVE M.D. before reading A PROBLEMATIC LOVE.
And I will now try my hardest not to spoil too much if you have not read LOVE M.D.
Megan has been living her life completely for her son. After losing the love of her life to a murder, she has been raising her son Zach with all the love she has to give. He has been the focus of her world. When her bother Jonathan asks her to move to Seattle to open up their new law firm branch, she’s reluctant to uproot her son but eventually sees it as a chance to start something new.
When her first big case causes her to cross paths with Daemon Ros, she is blown away by him- but not why you would think. Eventually- after her initial shock wears off- she and Daemon find that they are connected in ways they never could have imagined.
As their friendship blossoms, they find themselves asking and answering more questions- particularly about Daeman’s past. But as that happens, their lives start to be put into grave danger.
What I LOVE about RR’s books is the suspense factor. I read this in just a few hours because I was dying to know the WHY of everything that was going on. In the midst of a great story line are strong characters as well making it easy to read and connect to. Daemon grows close to Megan’s son Zach and it softens him- as do his growing feelings for Megan.
There’s a lot of loss that is suffered in this book- particularly through Daemon’s eyes and it is heartbreaking but it all fits together as important pieces of the puzzle.
If you like a well written romantic suspense- this is a series you need to read. Again- I do suggest LOVE M.D. first but if you must, you can read this on it’s own!

Rebecca Rohman, is a wife and designer currently living in the Northeastern United States. She was a former Sales Manager for a tourist magazine, and for many years prior, she first did Marketing for a jewelry company, and later a fine wine distributor.
About fifteen years ago, she started writing her first romance novel, Uncorked just to purely entertain herself. It was not until early in 2012 when she decided to complete it, and share it with the world. The story was published in February of 2013. Her second novel Love, Lies & The D.A. was released on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
