STUCK-UP SUIT by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward: Book Tour & Joint Review & GIVEAWAY

stuck up suit book tour

stuck - up suit cover-2It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days—until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn’t expect him to text back.

I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn’t expect to fall for him—all before we even met.

The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

MICHELLE: I don’t even know how to begin to describe how much I enjoyed this book!!!!! I instantly fell in love with Soraya and Graham.

PEPPER: OMG, I know!! And I absolutely loved how many awesome supporting characters there were too. This book just kept handing us amazingness all the way through.

MICHELLE: Seriously- loss for words over here.

Ok so can’t spoil anything, obviously, so there is a lot we can’t tell you. But basically Soraya and Graham meet when he leaves his cell phone behind on a train and she has to return it. She leaves a few sexy pics behind because Graham is being a dick and she wants him to know what he missed out on. And he totally regrets it.

PEPPER: I LOVED how they met. Totally unique – and their back and forth game had me smiling like a hugging idiot. This entire book had me giggling so much. Especially Graham’s meme – cue GG Sophia gif:

MICHELLE: OMG, she was the best!! But back to Graham…

I love how for the right woman Graham is instantly hooked. I mean we know that he can get whoever he wants but he’s mostly just cold and closed off and the minute he meets Soraya, he’s intrigued and he does everything he can to not just sleep with her but to get to know her. I loved that. I LOVED that they went on old fashioned dates and got to know each other and while the moved fast emotionally, I loved that they still somehow took their time.

PEPPER: Soraya was a bad ass at making him work for it. And he never wavered which I LOVED.

He was in from the very beginning and it was so great how she just made him want to be a better person. The other thing that was great about them was they were completely opposite in their lifestyles. This was one of the best ‘opposites attract’ books I’ve read in a long time!

MICHELLE: I know. I loved how enamored Graham was with her vibrancy and quirkiness – and also how she NEVER apologized for it. So good.

And, of course- no romance is complete without some major angst and this book has a ton of it. Of course the major source of the angst- we can’t really talk about but it boils down to bitchy ex, daddy issues and two people who have big hearts and are scared and don’t know what the hell they are doing.

PEPPER: OH, the angst. Had a lump in my throat for a good portion of this book. I LOVE when authors can do this to me. I really REALLY wanted these two to be together!

MICHELLE: Right? I love the way Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward write together. After reading COCKY BASTARD (which by the way you don’t need to read before this but the couple from that book is mentioned briefly in this book) I went and read a book by each author individually. And while their individual styles are different- I cannot tell who wrote what in this book. And I love that- love that they write together so seamlessly.

PEPPER: I know! Have I told you lately how much I loved this book?

MICHELLE: Lol! Seriously though, this book was just so good and I don’t even know why. It wasn’t some crazy new plot but it was just so creative and interesting. The couple had chemistry you could feel and personally- I could not get enough of them I hope we get a lot more of these books from ViPen/Penvi/WarKee(??) because they are awesome!

PEPPER: ViPen wins. I’m dying for more. In fact, I’m in the middle of reading COCKY BASTARD right now because I loved this book so much. It was such a quick read because you could not put it down. Not only are the two main characters flawless, but the supporting cast is just as amazing. The story is fun. There’s just so much to love. Get on this train, people!! NOW!!

He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska.

A sexy, cocky, Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive.

When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually-tense nights in hotels and taking unplanned detours.

My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.

I wanted him, but Chance wouldn’t make a move. I thought he wanted me too, but something was holding him back.

I wasn’t supposed to fall for the cocky bastard, especially when I knew we’d be going our separate ways.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
